Arron is a former collegiate sprinter, a USATF Level II Sprints/Hurdles/Relay specialist coach, and a competitive powerlifter. He has worked with numerous WPIAL & PIAA Track and Field champions, NCAA track and field athletes, and numerous successful athletes from diverse amateur and professional sports backgrounds. Arron implements the Intelligent Training philosophy by using the latest Techniques and Methods guided by the most up to date sports science. The goal of training is to improve the 5 core athletic building blocks: Flexibility, Coordination, Endurance, Strength, and Speed in every session. This focus is important regardless of sport, age, talent, or experience level. Arron offers everything from simple standalone program design to full time elite level coaching.

Nicole joined the Virtus family to help create a business that treats fitness, training, and facilities unlike anyone else in the industry. She comes from a background as a swimmer, a standout high school and collegiate softball pitcher, and a career in social services. Nicole is our Youth Program Director and helped create the PowerKidz and PowerTotz programs. She also runs the Adaptive Exercise program working with clients with special needs and post rehab needs. Nicole is a USAW Sports Performance coach working with small & large teams along with one on one personal training clients. Nicole is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Hands on Moxie Massage Therapy. She works with clients on rehabilitation and recovery through massage. Neal has always had a passion for sport from his early years playing hockey through his collegiate hockey career at Liberty University. He has always had a desire to help others achieve their goals and to improve their quality of life. Prior to joining the team at Virtus, Neal worked with strength and conditioning icons Bill Gillespie and Jesse Irizarry, was the S&C coordinator for Liberty University’s hockey team, and earned a degree in Exercise Science.  Neal is available to help you reach your goals and improve your life one exercise at a time.

Rachel Lhota, B.S., M. Ed., NASM

Rachel is a veteran within the wellness and fitness industry as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach for over 15 years. She received her degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University with a minor in Adapted Physical Activity. Rachel has many years of experience training clients ranging from youth athletes to senior citizens. She also has experience training women during all stages of pregnancy to keep both mom and baby safe and healthy. She will create each program to meet the needs of every individual client. After several years working in Corporate Wellness, Rachel switched full-time careers to pursue her passion for helping individuals with disabilities receiving her Masters in Special Education from West Chester University. She has significant experience working with and creating personalized training programs for individuals with disabilities. Through continuing education courses, Rachel continues to expand her certifications both as an educator and Wellness/Fitness Specialist. Amanda’s passion for athletics began at the age of 4 when she started her gymnastics career. Through here career she advanced to a Level 9 Gymnast and competed at the USA Eastern Nationals in 2018. After retiring from gymnastics, she kept engaged in the sport by coaching competitive gymnastics and becoming a mentor to girls in the sport. Currently, Amanda is a coach for Virtus Barbell while also being a national-level Olympic weightlifting athlete. In June 2020, she took second in snatch and third overall in the 49kg class at USAW Nationals! As a life-long athlete, Amanda is excited to use her background in gymnastics to mentor youth in the sport of weightlifting!

Kami is a family nurse practitioner certified by AANP and a certified medical-surgical nurse. She is a doctoral student and adjunct faculty member at the Duquesne University School of Nursing. Kami is passionate about improving her clients’ well-being from the inside out and encouraging them to lead positive, healthy, and confident lives. Kami sees her patients from Revival Wellness Company located inside of Virtus Barbell. She treats her clients with intravenous hydration and vitamin therapy. Revival Wellness Company also includes medical aesthetics, sustainable weight management options, prescription grade skin care solutions and more. He received a B.S. in Health and Physical Education and a Masters degree in Exercise Science from IUP. His interest in training athletes was developed during his playing days with IUP Hockey. Before joining Virtus Barbell, Corey worked with the University of Pittsburgh Strength & Conditioning program and Parisi Speed School. Following the Virtus model of Intelligent Training, Corey develops comprehensive training plans for athletes and regular clients that help them accomplish any goal. Holly comes to the Virtus Team with 20+ years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Her purpose is to bring wellness and weight-related changes to people that can become a sustainable lifestyle. She brings a unique focus on physical therapy and rehab skills to her training that she gained during her years as a physical therapy aide at Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in Pittsburgh. This allows her to be able to offer specialized training for people with health issues, high health risks, injuries, or the need for strengthening and rehab. She incorporates weight management and lifestyle modification into all her programs. Holly helps clients to set goals that will motivate them to be successful. She designs unique, flexible programs for each client using a variety of modalities. A hallmark of her training philosophy is helping clients to realize that they will reach their fitness goals over time through hard work, patience, and life balance. Mike has had a love for sport and fitness from an early age. He began to focus his attention on fitness and nutrition during his hockey career at McDowell High School in Erie PA. Through his college years Mike continued to advance his passion by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. He continued to master his skills gaining certifications in Fitness Nutrition, Corrective Exercise and Weight Loss. Mike started Robinson Elite Performance (REP) focusing on proper movement patterns while optimizing performance for all age groups and fitness levels. Ryan Lesik, D.C., CSCS

Ryan is the founder and lead clinician at Evolved Chiropractic & Rehab. He is a 2022 graduate of Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College). While in graduate school, he was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society, received the Dean’s Recognition of Achievement Award for outstanding performance on national board exams, and completed advanced training in both lower extremity movement analysis and whole food nutrition.

Before entering chiropractic college, Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), along with a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential awarded by the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2019.

Outside of the classroom, he has competed in powerlifting for over 7 years and holds a junior record in the International Powerlifting Association. It is the integration of this knowledge, experience, and passion that allows him to best understand and serve your physical health and performance goals. With over 1000 hours of yoga instruction, Serafina loves to share how the practice of yoga can be a meaningful support system to all forms of athletic movement.
